Built in 1743, this traditional canalside pub once had a forge and stables
for canal horses. Today, its friendly atmosphere makes it an ideal stopping
point for boaters. The pub has been completely refurbished internally and
benefits from 16 exterior tables where you can sit and eat anything from a
Burger to a Fillet Steak. Food will be served all day Saturday, Sunday and
Monday during the Beer Festival Weekend. The Two Boats Inn is Cask Marque
accredited.

TWO BOATS BEERS
BUSHYS – Isle of Man - CASTLETOWN BITTER – 3.5% - A light, golden beer full of floral and citrus hints produces this refreshing session beer.
WINTERS – Norwich – MILD – 3.6% - Classic dark mild, red-brown with a nutty roast character. Lingering finish develops a plummy feel.
SALOPIAN – Shrewsbury - SHROPSHIRE GOLD – 3.8% - Light copper coloured ale with an unusual blend of body and dryness.
WOODFORDES – Norwich – WHERRY – 3.8% - Smooth-textured brew with a balanced malt and hop character. Both nose and taste have a significant amount of malt and hops boosted by bittersweet fruitness.
DARK TRIBE – Lincolnshire - SPRUCE GOOSE – 3.8% - Tawny coloured session bitter, using Pearl malt and Cascade hops leading to a good rounded finish.
SLATERS – Stafford – ORIGINAL – 4.0% - An amber bitter. Malty aroma and caramel notes, hoppy taste develops into a dry hoppy finish with a touch of sweetness.
ABBEYDALE – Sheffield – DECEPTION – 4.1% - A pale beer, made with fabulous Nelson Sauvin hops. Aromas of elderflower and grapes. Strong citrus flavours, especially grapefruit. Long lasting bitter finish. Very refreshing and packed full of flavour.
GREEN JACK – Lowestoft - ORANGE WHEAT BEER – 4.2% - Beautifully balanced with a golden colour. Slightly bitter on the tongue but with a strong fruit flavour and a complex aroma and aftertaste.
KELHAM ISLAND – Sheffield - EASY RIDER – 4.3% - A pale straw-coloured beer with a sweetish flavour and delicate hints of citrus fruits. A beer with hints of flavour rather than full-bodied.
BLUE MONKEY – Ilkeston – EVOLUTION – 4.3% - A premium pale ale, light golden in colour and deliciously fruity. Epic amounts of finishing hops give this beer a pronounced citrus aroma leaving a lingering bitterness and a dry finish.
RUDGATE – York - RUBY MILD – 4.4% - A nutty, rich ruby ale, voted CAMRA’s beer of Britain 2009.
BURTON BRIDGE – Burton upon Trent - BURTON PORTER – 4.5% - Quite malty throughout but with plenty of roast, fruit and liquorice and a long bitter aftertaste.
SALOPIAN – Shrewsbury - HOP TWISTER – 4.5% - A premium bitter with a citrus flavour and complex hop finish. Refreshing and crisp.
CHURCH END - Nuneaton - RUSTY DUDLEY – 4.5% - A complex mix of three hops combines with the robust blend of malts, to produce a full flavoured, light brown bitter.
THORNBRIDGE – Bakewell – KIPLING – 5.2% - Golden pale bitter with aromas of grapefruit and passion fruit. Intense full flavours continue throughout, leading to a long bitter aftertaste.
KELHAM ISLAND – Sheffield - PALE RIDER – 5.2% - A full-bodied, straw pale ale, with a fruity aroma and a strong fruit and hop taste. The well balanced sweetness and bitterness continue in the finish.
PHOENIX – Greater Manchester - WOBBLY BOB – 6.0% - A red brown beer with malty, fruit aroma and creamy mouthfeel. Strongly malty and fruity in flavour, with hops and a hint of herbs.
WEM – Wem - JOY BRINGER – 6.0% - Deceptively strong beer with a distinct ginger flavour.
CHURCH END – Nuneaton – WRECTOR – 6.0% - Deep gold and quite hoppy with a very rich flavour. Made using American hops.
EXMOOR – Wiveliscombe, Somerset – BEAST – 6.6% - A dark beer brewed with chocolate and crystal malts.
